Order of the Eastern Star Purpose:

The Order of the Easter Star (OES) is an organization where women and men with high moral character, who have a desire to work for the betterment of others, and a drive to make the world a better place can contribute their time, energy and wisdom.  The OES was designed to serve among women the same purpose as that of Freemasonry among men, and to provide Masons with the cooperation of women kindred without accepting them into the Lodge.

The objectives of the Order of the Eastern Star are to

  • Promote through the association of its members, a bond of Christian love and fellowship as well as a sincere concern for our fellow man;
  • Teach a moral way of life;
  • Provide for the welfare of our members in the time of need; and
  • Enjoy a social environment where we may find new and lasting friends.
